We’re telling all our friends to watch The Martha Stewart Show tomorrow (Nov. 30) at 10 a.m. Eastern on the Hallmark Channel. Martha and TV Chef Nora Singley use Crown Maple Medium Amber Syrup to make the best Sticky Toffee Pudding you’ve ever tasted. We'll post the recipe after the show airs.
My sister Jessica and I were invited to last month’s taping and the show had a really creative “sticky” theme. Of course, my favorite segment was when Martha and Nora made the traditional English pudding, which is actually a spongy, carmelized cake that must be served warm. The recipe called for pure maple syrup and Martha used our Medium Amber Syrup in both the cake base as well as the topping.
Martha was very kind and spoke highly of our syrup calling it “really quite good” and pointing out that Crown Maple is from Dutchess County. She even liked our bottles! When she announced that everyone in the audience would receive a bottle, I was so proud and humbled to think of all that has happened with Crown Maple in our first year.
For a new company like ours, having your product used on The Martha Stewart Show is a very big deal. I hope you have a chance to watch it live or record it. Let us know what you think.
