Robb’s Crown Maple Old-Fashioned

This delicious spin on the classic Old-Fashioned was perfected by Crown Maple founder, Robb Turner,and featured in the New York Times.


1 ounce Crown Maple Dark Amber Syrup
3-4 dashes Angostura bitters
2 orange wedges
2 lemon wedges
2 ounces bourbon
Sparkling water
Stemmed maraschino cherry


  1. Pour the maple syrup into an old-fashioned glass. Saturate with bitters, then squeeze in juice from 1 orange wedge and 1 lemon wedge.
  2. Add remaining wedges, press with a pestle, add bourbon and stir well. Add ice cubes, fill with sparkling water and stir again. Pour, and garnish with a cherry.
