HYDE PARK — Local restaurateurs, beer makers, distributors of wine and spirits, organic food producers and others in the industry have a new forum to discuss their needs and a way to work together to market their products nationwide.
The Hudson Valley Economic Development Corp. launched the Hudson Valley Food and Beverage Alliance Thursday at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park.
“Food matters. Food matters, economically,” said CIA President Tim Ryan. “In the U.S., the food and beverage industries are the second largest private employers — second only to health care.”
