Maple Bourbon Barrel Aged Salmon

Ingredients

4 Salmon Fillets
1/2 cup Bourbon Barrel Aged Syrup
2 Sprigs Fresh Dill
2 Tbl Butter
Kosher Salt
Coarse Ground Black Pepper

Directions

STEP ONE:
Heat oven to 450 degrees. Pat salmon fillets dry and place on a baking sheet lightly sprayed with nonstick spray.
STEP TWO:
Season salmon with kosher salt and black pepper. Roast in the oven until salmon is almost cooked through.
STEP THREE:
Meanwhile, melt the butter and add the Crown Maple Syrup to a small saucepan; tear the dill leaves from the stems and add to the mixture. Warm over medium-low heat to infuse the syrup.
STEP FOUR:
Reserve 1/3 maple syrup mixture and set aside. Baste the fillets several times with the remaining syrup mixture. Once salmon is done, remove from the oven and brush with reserved syrup; serve.
